A description of your room

My bedroom is great! It´s great and there is a lot of furniture in it. Everything is pink in my bedroom and I call it `the pink room´. I´ve got a small bed, a desk, a chair, a wardrobe and a bookcase. The bed is next to the wardrobe. My desk is under the window. There is a big poster behind my bed. There is a computer and a lamp on my desk and I´ve got books in the bookcase next to my desk. I haven´t got a TV but I´ve got a CD player. I like my bedroom very much.

A short text about your plans for the weekend

Next Saturday I´m having my birthday party. In the morning my sister and I are helping our parents with the housework . Then the four of us are going to a pub to have lunch.  In the afternoon we are decorating the house for the party and we are also buying the drinks and the chocolate cake. My friends and cousins are coming at 7 in the evening. After the party we are watching a film on TV.

On Sunday morning I´m going to the sports club to play basketball with my friends. After that I´m visiting my grandparents and we are having lunch with them. In the afternoon I´m studying for my Maths exam on Monday. These are my plans for the weekend.

An article about a celebrity

Shakira´s full name is Shakira Isabel Merabak Ripoll. She´s from Barranquilla, Colombia, South America. She´s one of the world´s favourite Latin singers.  She´s young and beautiful and she has got a great voice. Her birthday is on the 2^nd of February. She has got four brothers and four sisters. Shakira can speak five languages. She dances and sings well. She likes painting and listening to jazz music. She doesn´t like hip hop. Do you like her?

Greetings from Greece. We´re having a great time here.

The hotel ´s fantastic. We´re staying on the second floor. The weather is lovely. It is hot and sunny.

Dad´s windsurfing at the moment. Tony´s playing golf with Steve. They´re enjoying a lot. I´m on the beach now. Mum´s swimming and I´m sunbathing. It´s lots of fun. See you soon.

A biography

Antonio Banderas was born in Málaga, Spain on 10^th October 1960.

As a child, Antonio wanted to become a footballer. His dream ended when he injured his leg. In 1979 he started acting classes. Two years later, together with a group of actors, he performed all over Spain. Later, he joined the National Theatre of Spain, in Madrid.

In 1982, the Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, asked him to star in one of his films. They worked together for eight years. In 1991, Antonio moved to Los Angeles to film The Mambo Kings even though he didn´t speak any English at that time.

Antonio is now married to Hollywood star Melanie Griffith and has a daughter. They often visit Spain.  Antonio is a big fan of Real Madrid Football Club.
